Bait Cage is a new product that improves rodent traps by securing and encapsulating bait on the bait pedal of the trap. Bait Cage is a small molded rubber part that is pressed onto existing rodent trap bait pedal plates without the use of tools or additional materials. Bait Cage has slots and openings all around to encourage pursuit of the encapsulated bait by rodent pests. After Bait Cage is secured onto the rodent trap bait pedal, solid bait can be placed inside the flexible rubber Bait Cage, or paste bait can be pressed into the Bait Cage enclosure through the slots and openings
