Apparatus for the automatic transmission and receiving of wireless communication, namely, a device and embedded software for implementing internet of things (IoT) on roads. The device enables machine-to-machine(M2M) wireless communication between smart self-driving vehicles and bikes, e-bikes, motorcycles, and legacy cars. It uses the 5.9 GHz frequency band in compliance with the dedicated short-range communications (DSRC) Standards. The device does not require a user intervention, and controls additional radio-frequency interference such as those encountered in bikes' platoons. Through the M2M technology, the BikeBudy avoids human errors; and addresses the inability of self-driving cars to reliably detect bikes. The core benefit to its users is automatically ensuring the safest riding experience by limiting collisions to the neighboring self-driving cars-a necessity in the emerging mixed traffic environment of self-driving and legacy cars
