The BlastBar is a metal swing-away catch bar attached to the inside of building window openings The system minimizes foreseeable risk to human life caused by flying glass or debris resulting from Terrorist Attacks, Vandalism, Hurricanes, Tornadoes and Earthquakes The BlastBar is a two part safety system-- Part one is a polymer fragment retention film (4mil to 15mil thickness) applied to the inside of plate glass windows to hold together glass shards caused by breaking glass (similar to an automobile windshield)-- Part two is a catch bar, designed to protect people inside the building, by stopping the flying sheet of glass caused by an explosion or storm outside the building The bottom line is the BlastBar Window Safety System provides a higher level of protection to building occupants in light of today's stormy political landscape worldwide
