The Business of Sport Summit is a seminar for high school student-athletes designed to expose them to the non-playing career opportunities in the sports business industry. The goal of BOSS is to encourage and motivate high school students to expand their single-minded focus on playing sports, provide ongoing mentoring to help them understand the requirements for pursuing the non-playing career opportunities in sport and to generally encourage high school students to perform better in the classroom, a prerequisite to most of the non-playing career opportunities in the sports business industry
