A Busy Kit is a portable activity pack for young children packaged in a clear plastic carrying bag with the words "My Busy Kit - Keeps Me Smiling!" on the package; A Busy Kit is approximately the size of a school lunch box and is designed to be taken and used anywhere, especially while traveling, away from home, or whenever it is important to keep children occupied for an extended period of time; The contents of the kit are appropriate for children three years and older; There is a minimum of 12 items in a Busy Kit containing activities intended for children to do on their own without the direct assistance of adults; It is not a singular toy, but instead varied assortment of tools and activities that provide enough choice and stimulation to sustain the child's interest over time (e;g; a plane ride, a hotel stay, a restaurant or waiting room); A Busy Kit contains items to for building (e;g;, building blocks, pattern blocks, and links), discovering (e;g;, magnets, tape measures, and magnifying glasses), manipulating (e;g;, scissors, lace boards, and beads), pretend play (e;g;, dress-up jewelry and finger puppets), creating (e;g;, stickers, stamps, pipe cleaners and hole punches), drawing and writing (e;g;, paper, pens, rulers, markers, coloring pages), reading (e;g;, books and word puzzles), and imaginary play (e;g;, plastic animals, balls and cars).
