CLASS 35: (Advertising and business): "help in the management of the business affairs or commercial functions of an industrial or commercial enterprise... undertaking communications to the public... concerning goods or services." While ____.com websites are intended for purchases, ___.info websites are intended to provide information. Consistent with this purpose, the logo "buyer.info" is currently being used in association with provision of online information for buyers ("services rendered") at the following websites -- http://www.Car.info-Buyer.info, http://www.Home.info-Buyer.info, http://www.Music.info-Buyer.info, and http://www.Stock.info-Buyer.info (at no charge as of this date). Search of the internet showed that another individual has claimed a US trademark for "buyer.info" based on trademark "13223219" dated "1974-02-16." However, search of the USPTO trademark database showed no such trademark and search of the internet did not show any use of "buyer.info" by this other individual thus far. If this other trademark claim turns out to be valid, then my application should be rejected.
