Underground Damage Prevention, We use electronic locating equipment to locate buried telephone, CATV, and power cables, water lines, gas lines, sewer pipes, etc; We also use a vacuum excavation method to dig a hole at the location of the buried lines or pipes in order to positively identify the location, size, etc; of the facility; This information is then provided to the contractors who are digging in the vicinity so that they can avoid damaging the existing buried facilities; Our locating equipment can be viewed at Metrotech's and Radiodetection's web sites and our vacuum excavation truck can be viewed at Vacmaster's web site; We use a Vacmaster System 3000; There is also a video tour there that shows how the work is performed
