Computer application software for smartphones and tablet computers, namely, software that will A- prompt user to commit to a specified time interval during which they will be personally interacting with another person in-real-life; B-monitor user's engagement with applications running on their device. Tracking and reporting access of applications during the specified time interval will direct users to engage in quality time with another person. E-QUALITY TIME is somewhat similar to these 2 products: "ScreenTime Control" limits overall time using a device. "AppDetox" can restrict access to particular apps, such as Facebook. While both of these products limit access, neither elicits a commitment to devote any time to higher quality engagement. Is the application a scheduling or calendar application No. E-QUALITY TIME prompts the user to make a commitment to a precise interval of time (e.g., 15 minutes to 2 hours) that will be devoted to personal interactions in-real-life. When the E-QUALITY TIME app is initiated, it begins with a prompt for a commitment for a precise interval of time. From that point, it begins to track time usage, and reports whether the user accessed any apps during the specified time interval. Does the application review a user's schedule or calendar to figure out optimum periods for quality time No. It does not rely upon calendar or scheduling functionality
