I created Emodynamics to help understand, measure and balance emotional energy in any given relationship or situation. A basic example is one person can enjoy loud music (positive emodynamic value) while another is deeply annoyed by it (large negative value). Emodynamics works to show people how the consequences of their behavior by assigning values to emotional experiences, creating a sort of emotional economics that provides insight into problems and relationships. The system tries to help people make choices that benefit themselves and others by clarifying the intensity of their preferences values as well as the preferences and values of others. The central ideal behind the system is that people behave better when they are aware of the emotional losses and gains related to a decision or action. Goods include but are not limited to different forms of educational literature, videos, and other media that help people understand and utilize the system. Services include but are not limited to consulting services such as workplace optimization, relationship/family/personal workshops, case studies and organizational research
