Flux Lighting provides services involved in the design, specification and commissioning of lighting systems for projects such as, but not limited to, offices, hotels, residences, hospitality, restaurants, museums, special events, building exteriors, landscapes, etc. On these projects we work as consultants with Architects, Interior Designers, the Owner/Client, other consultants and contractors. Flux Lighting services are involved in all phases of the project from concept design to construction documents (specification of lighting system components, CAD drawings and details, custom designs, etc.) to Construction Management (site visits, lighting system commissioning including focusing of fixtures, programming of dimming system and lighting scenes and final punch list.) On certain jobs we may act as electrical distributor by buying lighting equipment and reselling it to the client. Additionally, Flux Lighting is involved in the design of luminaires in collaboration with various manufacturers. Another aspect of the business is a maintenance service of lighting systems. This entails re-lamping fixtures (putting in new lamp bulbs), focusing and programming the lighting control system if available. It does not include and electrical work. This would be done by a qualified licensed electrical. The service contract is on a regular schedule or on a as needed basis, depending on the clients needs
