i-Stream is a software-driven service which delivers World Wide Web-ready images synchronized with audio voice-transcription and video via a Web browser This technology- utilizes RealNetwork's G2-level codes for audio and video as well as the World Wide Web Consortium standard SMIL (Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) i-Stream parses a log file (produced by proprietary software) generated by key commands from Microsoft Powerpoint presentation documents The resulting log file is used to generate (through a proprietary database parsing engine) a RealPix, RealText, SMIL and Hypertext Markup Language document viewed within a Web browser All of which allows a user to simultaneously view a Microsoft Powerpoint presentation the transcription of that presentation and the audio feed from the live presenter
