Providing charitable financial support for doctoral students and junior faculty in the humanities and social sciences to support the next generation of college teachers to provide diversity and diverse perspectives essential to postsecondary learning of well-educated citizens

Educational services, namely, developing and providing programs in civic learning and citizen development programming for students in kindergarten through high school and post-secondary education settings, and for use by afterschool programs, community groups, and non-profit organizations; conducting fellowship education and training programs for professionals in the field of civic engagement, civic learning, democracy building and higher education policy; mentoring of educators and other partners in the field of civic engagement, civic learning, democracy building, and higher education policy, with the purpose of engaging young people to gain civic and civil experience; arranging and conducting educational conferences, in the field of civic engagement, civic learning, democracy building, humanities and social science research, and higher education policy; Providing academic mentoring for doctoral students and junior faculty in the humanities and social sciences to support the next generation of college teachers to provide diversity and diverse perspectives essential to postsecondary learning of well-educated citizens
