Intratel PC-911 is computer software that utilizes a PC's resources to transform it into a virtual telephony device for placing calls to a 911 emergency operator directly from the PC over either a wireless or fixed line network. If the user is unable to speak, or the PC does not have sound card resources, the system has a button activated speech synthesizing function that will send a call, to the appropriate location specific 911 operator, categorizing the emergency, the location, and the user's name and number. This software is offered as an integrated or stand alone service
