promotion and furtherance of the interests of professional athletes who compete in the sport of triathlon and in other multi-sport competitions which feature a combination of bicycling, running and/or swimming (such triathlon and multi-sport competitions referred to herein as "multi-sport competitions"); the promotion and furtherance of the interests of multi-sport competitions; the ownership of one or more multi-sport competitions; the development, promulgation and administration of rules, regulations and grievance procedures to ensure the fair and orderly conduct of multi-sport competitions and professional multi-sport competitors; the sanctioning of multi-sport competitions; the promotion of the interests of one or more public charities; the improvement of the conditions under which professional multi-sport competitors engage in their occupation; the improvement of the status and public perception of professional multi-sport competition as a world class international sport; and the promotion and protection of the future of, and the encouragement of interest in, multi-sport competition
