ISSA is both a product and a service. It is an acronym for an "Independent Social Security Administration Trust Fund Account", or ISSA Account. This is a Small-to-Medium size Business Plan (SMB Plan) for a non-ERISA, After-tax Retirement Account, based upon Roth IRA tax rules. Specifically, in technical terms, I consider it to be a new Retirement Plan: a "Roth-Modified ISSA Account". In general terms, however, these Accounts may be regarded or known by another name: Privatized Social Security Accounts
