Providing a security stack comprising a collection of inline and passive network security devices with associated and management systems, namely Joint Management System (JMS) consisting of an out-of-band enterprise management system of routing, switching, and security devices designed to centrally monitor, manage, and track the condition of the stacks; high performance computer appliances namely JRSS inline and passive network security devices designed to virtually route and forward network traffic while monitoring network anomalies, network intruders, and generating log files for further analysis; full packet capturing capability providing the most detailed form of network data and historical information about attacks and malicious activities traversing across the stacks; providing DoD cyber security teams and system analysts with sufficient access privileges and credentials capability to continue analyzing logs to identify threat patterns and take appropriate actions to prevent future network attacks
