Indicating membership in a(n) to indicate membership in Leadership Cheatham County is a program sponsored by the Cheatham County Chamber of Commerce. The program consists of monthly seminars, group discussions, field trips, and retreats that address various issues of importance in Cheatham County. The sessions create a forum for the exchange of ideas and discussion of topics of interest. Each participant is involved in the development of a group project that culminates with a project presentation by the class. The program offers individuals the opportunity to become involved and to make a positive impact in Cheatham County. Purpose: To identify current and future community leaders with diverse backgrounds for the purpose of educating and motivating individuals committed to community service. Objectives: To enhance individual leadership skills, abilities, and community knowledge. To foster a free exchange of ideas and concern. To develop a positive, cohesive community image. To foster attitudes of increased commitment, cooperation and participation within our community for a long-term benefit of Cheatham County
