Lexica.MarketPortal is private label server for portals, affinity organizations, and other business partners to host a consumer front-end to any Lexica powered marketplace. MarketPortal incorporates a transaction server for communicating with marketplaces, a web server adaptor, user interface components, client application development tools, and a site compiler. Using MarketPortal, an organization can define a private label consumer front-end including data-entry screens and static content according to its corporate look-and-feel using XML. MarketPortal provides a set of pre-defined GUI controls, full support for client-initiated XML transactions, single site signon, a data validation library and an applet for cross-browser XML support. With the same site definition, the MarketPortal Compiler can generate multiple types of marketplace front-ends, including ones for standard browsers, PDAs, Java client applications and other third-party systems. MarketPortal also ships with the Lexica XDK for extending the capability of marketplace front-ends.
