The LiveModeler is a software application or tool that allows its users to integrate, extend and expose disparate systems, data sources and services through a single unified object model - a Virtual Business Object Model (VBOM); LiveModeler provides the ability to dynamically assemble / maintain a business object model that can be accessed through virtually any mechanism; The LiveModeler can act as a virtual integration server to bring together disparate technologies into the VBOM; After the VBOM is created, it, or portions of it, can be exposed through a variety of technologies and protocols simultaneously; The resulting VBOM is used by the runtime system and other tools to create business applications through assembly of components vs; traditional coding; In addition to creating VBOM, the LiveModeler can hold any number of interface mappings including LiveXML™, any XML schema, HTML, JSP and more; Interface mappings are used to translate different formats into a VBOM; Interface mappings can be used for presentation, functionality and data; LiveModeler is part of the ObjectBuilders family of products that include LiveIntegrator™ and LiveXML™
