Multi-function electronic devices for monitoring and reporting users' fitness-related physical activity data, namely, steps or movement and calories burned, and for transferring the physical activity data to the users' personal computer devices, namely, tablets and smart phones; downloadable software applications, namely, software applications for tablets and smart phones, for obtaining the physical activity data from said multi-function electronic devices, and for transferring the physical activity data to an online computer system and correspondingly receiving personalized recommendations from the online computer system related to health, fitness and lifestyle, based on the physical activity data; the foregoing not for use to wirelessly transmit audio and video from multifunction electronic devices, mobile electronic communications devices, or portable electronic communications devices to televisions, video monitors, or other display devices
