Services specified-- 1) To promote and provide funding to facilitate the protection, restoration, enhancement, understanding, awareness, and sustainable use of the natural resources and environmental resources of the Mississippi River 2) To provide funding to The Lower Mississippi River Conservation Committee to restore habitat to benefit the natural resources of the Mississippi River 3) To increase the level of awareness by the public regarding the natural resources of the Mississippi River 4) To develop a membership base for support 5) To encourage sustainable use of the Mississippi River’ s natural resources for long-term environmental, social, and economic benefit
