Protecting wildlife and other animals from being injured or killed on highways and roads as a result of vehicular traffic roadkill prevention, namely,: providing support services to governmental agencies, private industry and local communities, such as collecting and disseminating data to identify strategic location for construction of wildlife crossings to minimize habitat fragmentation, and to implement road ecology concepts designed to minimize hazards to animals; campaigns to raise driver awareness of safety measures to reduce avoidable automobile-animal collisions; promoting the development and use of technological innovations that can reduce automobile-animal collisions; promoting public awareness for the need of roadkill prevention; charitable fundraising, and incidental sale of goods, to finance the project
