Nova Certified is an indoor environmental and security management program; The goal of Nova Certified is to prevent indoor environmental and security problems and resolve such problems promptly if they do arise; Nova Certified evaluates, assesses, and/or tests for (1) pollutant sources, (2) pollutant pathways, (3) heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, and (4) occupant issues, concerns, and complaints; Nova Certified utilizes indoor environmental assessments for each air handling unit (AHU) and the area served by that AHU and outdoor environmental assessments for comparison and impact purposes; Nova Certified includes ; ; ; Inspection, evaluation, and assessment; Pollutant and source inventory; Environmental data collection - indoor and outdoor including-- Temperature and relative humidity, Carbon dioxide levels - air at supply, return, and mixed at AHU, Carbon monoxide levels - air at supply, Particle counts (2;5/5;0 micron), Particulate counts (biological/non-biological), Surface samples, Moisture meter readings, Air flow patterns, Pressurization patterns of odor sources i;e; print rooms, bathrooms, food preparation areas, smoking areas, Photographs; furnishings, water/other damage, pollutant sources, pollutant pathways, and general impression; Complete report, Reviews with management and Annual certification
