Philanthropy Online is a web-based philanthropic marketplace that brings together the needs of the non-profit community with the philanthropic goals of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation donors; Philanthropy Online provides the following online services to Foundation donors-- ·Online access to financial statements ·Online access to gift and grant history ·Ability to make grant recommendations online ·Access to a database of non-profits with profile and project information unique to each non-profit ·Ability to choose and store in a web-based medium philanthropic interest areas and view non-profits and their projects that meet those interest areas ·Online access to research studies on community issues with links to the detailed research report as well as to local programs that address those community issues; Philanthropy Online also provides the following services to non-profits applying for grants from the Greater Milwaukee Foundation-- ·Increased exposure for their organization and the programs they wish to highlight ·Use the internet to submit grant applications to the Foundation
