PrintSmart Manager Technology The PrintSmart Data Collection Agent (DCA) is a small software application that can be installed on a non-dedicated server at your location. The DCA collects printer/copier/MFP metrics from the network on a regular basis and transmits this data to the Copiers Northwest secure server. The frequency of data collection is customizable; the DCA can scan every half hour while only creating minimal network traffic. No user or document information is collected; only printer metric s. The DCA uses one-way communication, and two-way communication can be enabled only for remote updates
