GOODS AND SERVICES Of The SENIOR FRIENDLY COMMUNITY Program 1 The SENIOR FRIENDLY COMMUNITY (SFC) program will review and award Senior Friendly Community accreditation designations to cities, chambers of commerce and developed communities (incorporated and unincorporated) which provide a broad spectrum of measurable services to seniors The SFC commendation and numbered certification will license the recipient organization to advertise that they have succeeded in qualifying to our high standards and they can subsequently display the logo and make known their designation as a SENIOR FRIENDLY COMMUNITY 2 SFC will showcase annual "Community of the Year" competition in each state with presentation to be made to outstanding communities 3 Annual national awards will be made for the most innovative SENOIR FRIENDLY COMMUNITY in the US 4 Presentation of an annual "Top 10 List" of SENIOR FRIENDLY COMMUNITIES to retire to (based on services and amenities) will be determined and publicized 5 SFC will develop and license approved regional and local SENIOR FRIENDLY COMMUNITY business directories OTHER DATA-- The registered certification mark is intended to be used solely by approved cities / communities to certify that their services to senior citizens has been evaluated and approved by our compliance committee and that said city / community adheres to continuing activities which promote senior health, transportation, safety and general well-being (Note-- the certification mark or trade mark is not included in this document and will be applied for under separate action)
