Serendipity House is a private, non-profit family and child services agency which provides counseling, education and referrals; it provides a transitional learning center (alternative school) for children which offers basic education, grades 1-12; it provides family preservation through a counseling program referred to as "HomeTies"; it also provides training, guidance and referrals to families and children to the following programs; specialized care (level II-therapeutic foster care); residential independent living (level II) and family to family (level I - foster care)
