Consists of an affordable load cell arrangement that provides the fleet owner with the total load on the truck, the load on each axle, the load on each axle group, and the net mass loaded onto the vehicle; The information is sent to the cab via a wireless link to reduce the problems associated with data wiring in a rugged environment; There is an add-on feature which sends the load data to a central server via GPRS/GSM where it can be used further; The accuracy of the information is within +/- 1% and allows for general business decisions to be made; However, the solution is not intended for high accuracy uses such as instant invoicing, as this requires more stringent accuracy
