SonEdna is the name I coined for our family home and the 120-acre farm that it is situated on. I visited my in-laws who lived here for a family reunion. Their names were Mayme Edna and Son Curtis. So, to create a sign to identify the place, I came up with the name SonEdna - by combining their two names. My husband and I have lived here for approximately 15 years, and have used the name for our farm constantly. Although the farm produces hay, I would like to trademark the word SonEdna for all uses. After creating the name for the farm for the family reunion, we now have many concrete claims on the name, including a large wrought-iron sign, and a d/b/a checking account. We use the name SonEdna for many business purposes, and have eight full-time employees. Their health care is under SonEdna, payroll checks say SonEdna, we have letterhead and fax cover sheets, uniforms say SonEdna, vehicles have SonEdna license plates, and the blueprints for our home say SonEdna
