Speedgolf is a sport that combines golf and running. Players play golf while running between shots, carrying their clubs, and playing under slightly modified rules of golf. The Speedgolf score is the number of strokes required to finish the round, added to the total time required to finish the round. The two ways in which Speedgolf modifies the traditional rules of golf are 1) there is no penalty for the ball striking the flagstick; and 2) rules for lost balls are adapted for each event or each golf course (known as "local rules")
