Orthopedic support devices for post-surgical recovery Applicant respectfully requests reconsideration of the proposed amendment to the identification of goods. Applicant's goods are properly identified as "Orthopedic support pillows for post-surgical recovery." Applicant submits that this identification is not a broadening of the original identification but rather a clarification and narrowing of the original goods. The original identification of "Medical devices for treating sleep disorders" was an inaccurate description of the actual goods at the time of filing. Applicant's product is a therapeutic orthopedic support pillow designed to aid patients recovering from surgery, which inherently includes proper positioning during sleep and rest periods following surgical procedures. Therefore, post-surgical orthopedic support pillows are encompassed within and are narrower than the original identification. Applicant respectfully requests that the examining attorney accept "Orthopedic support pillows for post-surgical recovery" as the amended identification of goods, as this description accurately reflects the actual goods being sold under the mark and does not exceed the scope of the original identification.
