Promoting public awareness of the need for religious pluralism, human rights, civil rights, religious freedom, freer immigration, and combating poverty in the United States and around the world; association services, namely, promoting the interests of Jews and other ethnic and racial groups in the United States and around the world in the areas of inter-group relations, religious pluralism, human rights, civil rights, religious freedom, immigration trends and policies, interreligious and Jewish communal affairs, economic policy and poverty, combating anti-Semitism and other forms of racial and ethnic hatred and bigotry, and ensuring the security of Israel; advocating public policy positions rooted in American democratic values and the perspectives of Jewish heritage, namely, supporting legal, judicial and legislative efforts to implement and expand religious pluralism, human rights, civil rights, and religious freedom, in the United States and around the world
