The Fellow Feathers of Fort Funston Hang Gliding Club (FFFFHGC) will pursue its mission through: A. Advocacy. FFFFHGC will interact, proactively when possible and reactively when required, with agencies, organizations and individuals whose interests affect our sport. B. Communication. Externally, FFFFHGC will advance the positive awareness of hang gliding among the non-flying public. Internally, the organization will cultivate a culture of communication and transparency. C. Community. FFFFHGC will promote a sense of community among members both locally and nationally. D. Flying sites. FFFFHGC will support the preservation of the Fort Funston hang gliding site. E. Learning. FFFFHGC will support learning, in part by providing information on meteorology and local airspace regulations. F. Safety. FFFFHGC will steadily foster a culture of safety
