The Greatest 50 is series conceived by HTM to select the greatest 50 high school athletes or teams across the united states, with one student-athlete or team being crowned "the greatest" in each state. The series is scheduled to begin in 2013 with high school football individual players. In subsequent years, HTM will select other sports to highlight individual athletes and/or teams. For example, in 2014, HTM may recognize the "greatest 50" high school girls and boys basketball team. As part of the "Greatest 50" series, HTM will employ a number of marketing techniques to exposure the message and may solicit media partners and corporate sponsors to do the same"
