THE NATIONAL RETAIL HALL OF FAME is an award and recognition program that is centered around a major event and ceremony in which outstanding leaders from the retailing industry and its partners are recognized by the industry; The awards are presented at a major event and in conjunction with the award ceremony, scholarship funds are raised for students who are identified as those who have the potential to be future leaders in the retailing industry; THE NATIONAL RETAIL HALL OF FAME is housed at Texas A&M University in the Center for Retailing Studies; In THE NATIONAL RETAIL HALL OF FAME location at Texas A&M University the names and stories of the companies who have been inducted into THE NATIONAL RETAIL HALL OF FAME are displayed prominently; THE NATIONAL RETAIL HALL OF FAME logo will be used on products such as lapel pins, jewelry, and desk top items that will be made available for retail sale; THE NATIONAL RETAIL HALL OF FAME will also sponsor educational conferences for students and for retail industry professionals
