educational services, namely providing a violence intervention program to juvenile offenders and at-risk children selected from the public school system, private schools, juvenile facilities and residential treatment facilities in the fields of humane treatment of animals, responsible pet ownership, non-violent conflict resolution, anger management, appropriate expression of emotion, self-confidence enhancement, communication skills and interdependence designed to teach compassion, respect and responsibility toward animals and others through the experience of training and nurturing homeless dogs who have been rescued from an animal shelter and who are awaiting permanent adoption; providing information to juvenile offenders and at-risk children as part of the violence intervention program in the fields of animal abuse, prevention of animal abuse, the link between animal abuse and human violence, how interaction with animals relates to human relationships, pet adoption, dog temperament testing, positive reinforcement training methods used with dogs, and advantages and benefits of rescuing mixed breed dogs from animal shelters or reputable rescue groups; providing a mentoring program to juvenile offenders and at-risk children during and after completion of the violence intervention and counseling program; arranging, sponsoring and conducting classes, workshops, seminars, lectures, discussions, presentations and demonstrations for schools, civic groups, communities, associations, government entities and the general public to provide education and information in the fields of humane treatment of animals, responsible pet ownership, prevention of animal abuse, the link between animal abuse and human violence, pet adoption, dog temperament testing, positive reinforcement training methods used with dogs, and advantages and benefits of rescuing mixed breed dogs from animals shelters or reputable rescue groups, and distributing newsletters, reports, articles, pamphlets, and printed educational materials in connection therewith; training others to conduct educational programs, lessons and activities in the field of violence intervention for juvenile offenders and at-risk children; publication of newsletters, reports, articles and pamphlets
