Goods & Services

Among the problems confronting a homeowner or apartment dweller is the difficulty in storing and transporting large bulky items. To solve this problem a lift device, currently called "The Top Shelf" was developed to minimize the usable floor, wall, and room space occupied for storing large items such as bicycles, kayaks, and mowers, and minimizes lifting of those articles for mounting. The present design takes advantage of existing and common components to allow for the finished product to be easily transported, assembled, operated, and installed, for example by a single user with no or minimal prior experience or training with mechanical lifts or equipment as it installs and operates much like a garage door opener. The Top Shelf includes a vertically mounted Unistrut track and patented trolley assembly coupled to the track for lifting of bulky objects up to the ceiling of the garage or storage room
