WeekendReminder.com is an internet service that provides members with free weekly email reminders about events from 9 event categories and 6 Bay Area (and surrounding cities) counties. It is expected that more event categories and event counties/locations will be added in the near future. Members log onto the site and create a password and enter their email address. They then indicate in their event profile which event categories and event locations they are interested in , and select how far in advance they would like to be notified of an event, 1, 2, or 3 weeks. A weekly email is sent to the member with events that match their preferences and profile. Reminders include the event description, location, contact information and price. Event holders can submit a request to post events on WeekendReminder.com through the www.weekendreminder.com website. Requests to post events must first be screened and approved prior to posting
